Great Achievements Since the Inception of the Program.
Blue’s Abu Dhabi, Dubai & Envirol offices are now all fully equipped with recycling bins for plastic bottles, paper, aluminum cans, electronic devices and used cooking oil. All employees were made aware of specific methods to implement towards reducing our carbon footprint through training which was provided in all our offices. Through the training all Blue employees are encouraged to follow the sustainable practices such as recycling, printing wisely, energy and water consumption reduction. Impressive goals have been achieved thus far for recycling in our office. Since the beginning of 2016 we have collected:
• 94kg of paper
• 9kg of plastic bottles
• 51kg of aluminum cans and diverted 66kg of e-waste from landfill.
By collecting the above, we have contributed to saving large amounts of our valuable resources and helped reduce our CO2 emissions by 2.5 tons.
